  • A dynamic player in the global oil & gas/petrochemical sectors with a unique service offering, is seeking an experienced and skilled Subcontracts Specialist for a challenging role in their fast-expanding business.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Prepare Project Contract Documentation such as Terms and Conditions, Flow Downs from prime contract, other Sub-Contract documents for issue of Invitation to Tender.
    • Expertise in drafting or modifying contractual documents such as Confidentiality agreements, Letter of Awards, Memorandum of understanding etc.
    • Issue Invitations to Bid, correspond with Sub-Contractors, Tabulate & evaluate bids, Negotiate with Sub-Contractors on terms and conditions and other documents and issue contracts after obtaining necessary internal approvals.
    • Perform all post contract award Contract Administration activities such a letter writing, Change order control and administration, Contract close out etc.
    • Liaise with internal stake holders such as Engineering, Project Controls, Legal, Finance and Project Management.
    • Furnish reports of contract details when asked by Project Management.
    • If applicable, be ready to interpret contract and other legal ecosystem surrounding contract for any dispute resolution.

    Background & experience:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in handling pre and post subcontracting activities in an EPC or related organization.
    • Business fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of Mandarin and/or Russian are a plus (though not a pre).
    • Electro-mechanical, Steel Structures & Civil Contracts handling expertise with Bill of Materials and Quantity Surveying is a plus.
    • Desirable to have project experience in the central Asia region.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Law is preferred.
    • The legal requirements to work and reside in the Netherlands is desirable although non-EU nationals are welcome.
