An exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Process Designer to join a leading engineering organization in The Hague. This role offers the opportunity to work on major industrial projects within the oil & gas/petrochemical sectors, supporting FEED and EPC activities within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain PFDs and P&IDs using AVEVA Diagram and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with Process Engineers and other disciplines to gather design requirements and technical information.
• Review and incorporate engineering feedback to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables.
• Support the preparation of equipment specifications, datasheets, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality checks on process design documentation.
• Mentor junior designers and support knowledge sharing across the team.Your Profile
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in process design within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, or similar industries.
• Strong experience with AVEVA Diagram and AutoCAD; AVEVA knowledge is essential.
• Proven expertise in developing PFDs and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with API, ASME, ISA, and relevant European standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and international project environments.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Offer
