    The Role

    As the Senior IT Architect for Digital Workplace, your primary responsibility is to provide visionary leadership, driving strategic direction and innovation within the company’s digital workplace. You will design, implement, and manage a secure, scalable, and user-centric platform that enhances employee productivity and digital experience.

    Working collaboratively across functions, you will lead groundbreaking projects and establish the company as a thought leader within the digital workplace landscape. As a central figure in the IT Platforms & Digital Workplace team, your work will drive the next generation of workplace technology.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Visionary Leadership: Define and execute long-term strategies, inspire and mentor team members, and shape the strategic direction of the company’s digital workplace.
    • Innovation and Thought Leadership: Position company as an industry leader in workplace innovation, driving groundbreaking projects and representing the company in industry forums.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Establish and nurture collaborations across departments, enhancing influence and reach within and beyond the organization.
    • Knowledge Ecosystem Development: Architect and manage a comprehensive knowledge ecosystem, ensuring efficient knowledge transfer and accessibility.
    • Organizational Impact: Lead impactful projects that contribute to operational efficiency, cost savings, or revenue growth, actively participating in strategic decision-making.

    The Team

    The IT Platforms & Digital Workplace team drives the innovation and stability of the company’s workplace technology. This team consists of architects, engineers, and support specialists who ensure seamless operations and continual advancements in employee productivity. Positioned at the heart of the IT department, the team collaborates closely with HR, Security, and business units to create and maintain an inspiring digital work environment.

    Must-have skills and qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in IT.
    • Proven expertise in Digital Workplace architecture, including Microsoft 365, VMware Workspace One, Citrix, and ServiceNow.
    • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF and ZACHMAN.
    • Experience working within agile methodologies, like Scrum and SAFe.
    • Demonstrable experience defining and implementing innovative workplace solutions.
    • Fluent in English and minimum B1/B2 level Dutch, with strong communication skills to represent the company as a thought leader.

    Nice-to-have’s:

    • Experience in telecom, internet or similar industries.
    • Familiarity with advanced knowledge management systems and digital transformation.
    • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., MCSA, VCP-DW) are a plus.
