Raspberry PI Maker / Integration Specialist

A great opportunity to be part of an exciting start-up project in the technology space. The company are building an agile fast evolving robot, using COTS technology and 3d printing, with emphasis on fast and robust integration and testing iterations.

Responsibilities

• Set up RPI running docker
• Integration with 4G modem and connection to internet
• Integration with a high-end GNSS board
• Integration of a power bank
• Integration of wireless charging for the powerbank
• Integration of 3-axis accelerometers and a digital compass
• Integration of various temperature sensors
• Integration and testing of motor control
• Assembly with 3d printed chassis and shell

Experience

Technical

• RPI projects
• Installing OSs and docker on RPI
• Integration of modems to RPI (AT commands, reconnects etc.)
• Work with 3d printed parts

General

• Proven record of previous projects

What is expected in the role?

• Assist with initial design and component selection (modules, hats etc.)
• Create connections, cables, breadboard, soldering where needed
• Integrate kit, including drivers to the points where python software can access data from sensors
• Assemble products of 3d printing
• Carry out testing, indoor and outdoor
