    The successful Investment Analyst will operate as an expert professional by providing input to the Business Acquisition Team related to the investment screening, due diligence, financial modelling and loan arrangements in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Environmental, and New Energy industries.

    Your new challenge will include:

    • General research of the energy market and preparation of acumens on potential investment opportunities.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities, conduct reference checks, investment modelling and perform other qualitative and quantitative analyses.
    • Prepare comprehensive due diligence report and the due diligence tasks include carrying out risk analysis and compliance check, investigating, review or audit to verify facts.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision marking in the Feasibility studies and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
    • A thorough understanding of CAPEX and OPEX of Potential projects. Analysis of different scenarios in the financial models and recommendation to management on best financial results.
    • Build and maintain a relationship with Banks, Export Credit Agencies, Financial Institutes, Non-Banking Financial Companies, and other prospective lenders.
    • Provide inputs on loan structuring and drafting terms and conditions and ensure timely submission of information and clarify queries from Banks, ECA’s, FI’s and NBFC’s – for their independent appraisal.
    • Proactive contribution to the development of a network of high-quality external counterparties (management firms, Banks and other institutional investors).
    • Actively monitor the competitive landscape and maintain a forward calendar of upcoming investment opportunities.
    • Monitor the performance of existing investments in collaboration with other team members and other institutions.

    What we would like from you:

    Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in major financial institutions or investment management/consultancy firms. University degree, preferably at post-graduate level, in finance or business administration.

    Technical Abilities:

    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with teams and stakeholders
    • Proven record of accomplishment and experience in investment management and/or corporate lending/structured finance.
    • Knowledge of ECA’s operational framework and inter-institutional relationship between banks and other financial institutions.
    • Ability to proactively build productive and lasting working relationships with investees and strategic partners.
    • Strong financial modelling skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English) with a commercial approach together with experience in writing and delivering presentations and communicating ideas and plans to senior management and executives.
