Data Centre Operations Engineer

Our client is looking for a Datacenter Operations Engineer where you, together with a team of four driven technicians, take care of the technical infrastructure within their data centers. With two operational data centers and a third under construction, you are responsible for the following tasks, among others:

• Carrying out preventive maintenance on electrical installations, HVAC systems, emergency power supplies and fire alarm systems;
• Analyze and resolve malfunctions in the above-mentioned installations;
• Supporting and guiding subcontractors in carrying out their work;
• Preparing work and drawing up reports.

What do we ask?

• MBO+ working and thinking level;
• You are (electrical) technically skilled;
• Knowledge of data centers is an advantage (electrical and/or cooling technology);
• You are willing to work breakdown services;
• You are technical, communicative and independent;
• You are not afraid of heights and you do not have an electronic implant (due to working near large transformers and generators)
• You live in the south Holland area:
• A good command of the Dutch and English languages (min B2).
