  • Great opportunity for an ambitious engineering graduate with 1-2 years of experience to become involved in engineering initiatives across Europe, supporting both new technical installations and ongoing improvements within a logistics and operational infrastructure.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Execute projects within the set budget and time according to the local legislation.
    • Inventorize the needs of the organization and users for technical installations and products.
    • Propose solutions that will contribute to quality and efficiency of the technical installations, products and logistic processes.
    • Support the implementation on site of the solution until project is transferred to Operations
    • Ensure the alignment with the actual and future IT landscape and new ERP implementation
    • Continuous new suppliers research for engineering and development projects
    • Analyze and improve processes in the depots and overall supply chain in order to create operational excellence via Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
    • Lay the base for continuous process improvement with clear focus and measurable results.
    • Support the design and improvement of processes and systems using different Methodologies (Lean, 6 Sigma, 5S, OEE)
    • Analyze operational and administrative processes and make proposals for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain an international KPI structure to ensure operational excellence.
    • Perform regular benchmarking and identify best practices across the organization.
    • Resolve key process challenges.

     

    YOUR PROFILE

    • 18 to 24 months working experience in process engineering, operations, continuous improvement or related.
    • A relevant technical/engineering degree.
    • Fully fluent in English with some Dutch a plus.
    • EU/Netherlands work permission.
    • Stakeholder coordination skills.
    • Some understanding of project methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, Scrum, DevOps is desirable.
    • Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% across EU locations.
    • Possess the following attributes: vision, planning and organizing, analytical ability, quality awareness, autonomy, continuous improvement and personal organization.
