A challenging opportunity for an IT Administrator to join a leading international organisation with responsibility for the operational administration of IT services across the company. This role manages software licensing, IT asset tracking, vendor relationships, procurement, the maintenance of IT policies and documentation whilst ensuring the IT department operates efficiently, compliantly, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage software licences, ensuring compliance, renewals, upgrades, and accurate usage records.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, tracking hardware throughout its lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
- Coordinate asset allocation for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure licence and asset records remain accurate.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and suppliers, coordinating procurement, purchase orders, deliveries, and contract administration.
- Maintain IT contracts, SLAs, policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
- Support the IT Manager with vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, budgeting, and spend tracking.
- Monitor IT expenditure, process invoices, and produce reports on assets, licences, and vendor performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement while supporting QHSE and compliance initiatives.
Your Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT administration, IT coordination, or IT operations support.
- Experience managing software licences and IT asset inventories.
- Knowledge of IT procurement, vendor management, and contract administration.
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools or ITSM platforms.
- Understanding of software licensing models including subscription and perpetual licensing.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Legal right to work and reside in the EU and the Netherlands.
This is an interim assignment but with potential for longer term prolongation.
