Are you ready to take the lead as a Senior Estimator on complex, high-value projects? This is a key opportunity to drive cost estimation across FEED and EPC phases within a fast-growing global engineering environment in the Netherlands.
The Role
As Senior Estimator, you will lead and coordinate full-cycle estimating activities, supporting proposals and ensuring accurate cost assessments across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning scopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate estimating activities for complex projects
- Review tender/ITB documents to understand technical and commercial requirements
- Support proposal planning, scheduling, and bid submission timelines
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering engineering, procurement, construction, and project management
- Coordinate with disciplines to gather inputs and clarify scope requirements
- Evaluate vendor quotations and compile final equipment and system costs
- Prepare construction cost estimates including bulk materials
- Perform financial analyses (NPV, IRR, Payback) for feasibility studies
- Assess project risks and include appropriate cost provisions
- Conduct benchmarking and validate costs using historical data
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools
- Contribute to development of company standards and procedures
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- 12+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical industries, including 5+ years in cost estimating
- Strong knowledge of FEED and EPC project environments
- Solid understanding of estimating methodologies and best practices
- Experience with technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; EU work eligibility preferred but relocation support offered.
